Between two worlds
By combining the universality of the multifunctional SUV and the emotional attractiveness of a coupe, the designers of Mercedes Benz have discovered a strong formula, which has already proven itself in the GLE COUPÉ model. The most compact version of this model, GLC COUPÉ, has now experienced a youthful interpretation, characterised by an easy to recognise, athletic bodywork frame, extended glass part and large-sized wheels.
Even though the GLC has been taken as the technical basis for the GLC COUPÉ, the bodyworks of the coupé are almost eight centimetres longer and four centimetres lower, thus looking much sportier.
In order to emphasise the individuality of the model, Mercedes-Benz offers its customers two solid, seven metallic and three special DESIGNO hues.
Sporty appearance and exclusive comfort
The GLC COUPÉ is originally equipped with a sports suspension, and by supplementing it optionally with the DYNAMIC BODY CONTROL system, a driver gets not only five transmission operational regimes – ECO, COMFORT, SPORT, SPORT+ and INDIVIDUAL –, but also just as many suspension settings allowing him to adjust the vehicle to the driving conditions and the driver's mood.
A special feature of the GLC COUPÉ is a pneumatic suspension AIR BODY CONTROL, not available in any other vehicle of this class. Equipped with multi-chamber pneumatic pillars, extra fast electronic control and adaptive operation, it offers a never before available range of driving features – the GLC COUPÉ is able to drive incredibly smoothly, while showing aggression and dynamics characteristic of a sports car when necessary.
In order to enhance the sporty nature of the GLC COUPÉ, DIRECT STEER steering equipment with a reduced gear ratio has been installed in the vehicle, and different settings of power steering in the regime SPORT and SPORT+ have been introduced.
Environment-friendly, yet strong dynamics
Mercedes-Benz may be proud of its reputation as an economic, yet dynamic vehicle, and the GLC COUPÉ is no exception. For example, GLC 220 d 4MATIC COUPÉ per 100 km of the road consumes only 5 litres of petrol and emissions are only 131 g CO2 per kilometre, while the vehicle is able to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds.
In addition to three versions of the diesel engines, Mercedes-Benz offers three models with petrol engines, of which one – GLC 350 e 4MATIC COUPÉ is a rechargeable hybrid.
Taking into consideration the sporty style of the GLC COUPÉ, an extensive interest will be created by Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC COUPÉ. Its V6 petrol turbo engine capacity is 367 HP, ensuring impressive 4.9 second acceleration to 100 km/h.
The GLC COUPÉ versions are equipped with a permanent all-wheel-drive, torque split in a 45:55 ratio, for AMG models -31:69, and immediately and flowingly operating nine-speed automatic transmission.
Maximum individuality
In the range of practical SUVs, the GLC COUPÉ stands out both with its sportier looks and also with abundant standard equipment and extensive additional options.
The standard equipment includes 18-inch wheels, but you may choose to order their replacement by 19 or 20-inch wheels. In the interior - seats with individual design or sports seats of the AMG series and expressive combination of red and black.
Sports suspension and steering equipment of a sportier configuration is part of the GLC COUPÉ’s standard equipment, also including KEYLESS-GO starting function, rear-view camera and EASY PACK trunk lid.
