Hasn’t it happened to all of us? We are thinking about an upcoming trip – it can be work or leisure related, and suddenly a shadow of doubt is cast over us. How could you call for help? How much would repairs cost? What to do if the car needs to be left behind? How to communicate if no one in the foreign country speaks a language that you would be able to understand? Really – although nowadays cars are reliable and safe, never say never.

The good news – Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicle owners receive Mercedes-Benz Mobilo without any additional costs! It is a mobility warranty program that includes fast high quality technical assistance or, if the car cannot drive, other services that will allow to continue the journey.

Even more good news? Everyone who takes his or her car to an authorized auto service for the vehicle technical maintenance qualifies for Mobilo program, the program is extended automatically from one maintenance to the next.

This is what is included in the Mobilo service package!

  • Arrival at the place of accident: return travel costs for the technician are covered.
  • Assistance on the site: minor repairs with expenses up to 150 EUR (all tax included).
  • Evacuation: to the closest authorized Mercedes-Benz service centre.
  • Taxi fare/return service/public transport: up to 75 EUR (all tax included).
  • Vehicle transportation service: within a 50 km radius of Mercedes-Benz service centre.
  • A substitute vehicle: while your vehicle is being repaired (up to three working days).
  • A flight or a train ride: up to 400 EUR (all tax included) per person.
  • A hotel: for you and your passenger – up to 400 EUR (all tax included) per person.


How to ask for assistance?

To receive assistance you simply have to call the service number (it is located inside the vehicle somewhere easy to find or written in the service journal), describe the problem, and you can expect for the assistance to arrive very soon.

Area of activity – the entire Europe

Wherever a car problem occurs - in Estonia, Spain or at your own garage, Mobilo is equally at your service. All that is expected from you to do – a call to the help line.

The program can be reentered

In case you have become the owner of a used Mercedes-Benz vehicle or for some reason your car hasn’t had the technical maintenance for some time, Mobilo does apply to you, too. The only requirement is a visit at an authorized service centre, where your car gets tested and serviced. When that is done, your Mercedes-Benz automatically reenters the Mobilo program.

It will be effective up to 30 years

No, it is not a typo! It is applies to Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles with the first registration at Mobilo activity area from 01.04.2008., including minivans Viano un V-Class – registered from 01.01.2012. Although not many choose to drive that old vehicles, the owner can count on mobility warranty even after the vehicle has served two decades and more. You just have to make sure that the technical maintenance is performed at an authorized service centre.

Are there really no additional costs?

During the warranty period, Mobilo program participants don’t have any additional expenditures – the costs for the repairs of technical defects are covered by the manufacturer. If the warranty issued by the manufacturer has expired, the costs for repairs have to be covered by the vehicle owner, however, it does not affect in any way Mobile service availability free of charge.
