Akniste trading and logging company SIA “Indāres” has added two new, individually equipped Mercedes-Benz Actros tractors to its fleet, supplied by Daimler AG general representative in Latvia, SIA “Domenikss”.
SIA “Indāres”, one of the largest companies in the region, uses Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, vans, tractors and timber trucks. “From the very first purchase of a truck, our choice is Mercedes-Benz, which outperforms other brands with quality, cabin comfort, fuel economy and long service intervals that help to ensure efficient day-to-day operations,” says one of SIA “Indāres” owners Mr. Nauris Porietis.
“We are pleased to see more and more companies in our industry choosing our brand, including our long-standing customers. We have been cooperating with SIA “Indāres” since 2004 and we are confident that the new Actros will be a modern and reliable addition to the company's fleet, once again proving the quality of Mercedes-Benz - also in the newest truck segment,” says SIA “Domenikss” Truck trading and marketing manager Mr. Aivis Zapereckis, who calls this vehicle the perfect companion for long distance drivers and freighters.
All the improvements in Actros – both in technology and in design – are made with the driver in mind, who has to spend many hours in the cab, and the environment, in which the car is moving. The result is a 21st Century truck, where the key are the people who deliver cargo from one point to another safely and with minimal damage to the environment. The new Actros vehicles are equipped with multimedia displays for improved driver and vehicle communication, a wide range of digital solutions and various driver assistance systems. In addition, this vehicle is extremely economical – its relatively low fuel consumption is further reduced, saving up to 3 % on highways and up to 5 % on regional and rural roads.
“The new Mercedes-Benz Actros vehicles are now also available in Latvia, remaining unmatched in its segment in terms of safety, comfort, durability and relatively low operating costs. In addition, they meet all the latest environmental and safety standards required by the European Union,” says Aivis Zapereckis.
In Latvia, Mercedes-Benz Actros can be ordered in the showroom of SIA “Domenikss”, the general representative of the German company Daimler AG in Latvia.
